Missions that involve following a trail

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue. but whenever I am doing a mission that requires me to follow a trail (like the first bebop mission or the one where you follow the old mas inhaler) the trail does not appear. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

The inhaler trail showed for me but yeah whatever we were supposed to see for the bebop mission was totally invisible. Pretty sure its an actual game issue. There are sound queues though, so I used those with the bebop mission to finish it. If you just walk through the streets the ticking beeping sound goes away pretty quick if you make a wrong turn.

For me personally it helped to just reload the last checkpoint. Once I did so, the trail immediately appeared. It does suck but at least it only takes a few seconds max to fix.

The inhaler trail was missing for me. I had to look up where to go after figuring out that something was completely broken.

Neither trail appeared for me. Tried reloading to check point, didn't work. Then I tried just restarting game, also no luck.
