Memory Leak
Game appears to have a memory leak. I let it sit for 30min or so on a photomode screen, when I came back - the game had gone from 70-100fps averages, to 30fps.

Textures are also breaking occassionally, it seems to be linked to the Ray Reconstructing feature.

Win11
RTX 4090
i9 13900kf
32gb of Ram
Installed on M.2

how do i update it? i cant seem to play.

it is probably due to ray tracing, I maxed everything with only ray tracing reflections and after several hours I do not find any memory leak problem. (I also removed the DirectStorage DLLs)

13600k
4070 Ti
32gb Ram
nvme 7gb/s (of course)

Man, I just listed the machine, with all its components, on which I'm running the game. No one here has spoken of stutter...
Nick what about those 2 dll files i saw someone post about them ?

I think are dstorage.dll and dstoragecore.dll

I saw some people mentioning that deleting them actually gives an FPS boost ?
It seems like every Nixxes release tends to have some kind of memory leak... (Either that, or some audio-related bug as well.)

Even with my specs below, my frame rate and frame times takes a massive hit over an hour or so of playing the game. Personally, I think it has something to do with Ray Tracing in general, since I don't have access to Ray Reconstruction.

* Ryzen 9 7950X3D
* Radeon RX 7900 XTX
* 64 GB DDR5-6000 CL30
* Crucial T500 2TB Gen4 NVMe M.2
* Windows 11 24H2
* 4K XeSS Performance w/ FSR Frame Generation, Ultra Setting & Ultimate Ray Tracing
* 74-117 FPS (-3 FPS Cap) w/ 20.4GB VRAM on fresh game boot (but keeps increasing as I play over time)
Thinks I've found a workaround too. Since it played much longer with me today. Turn off all the features in the GPU setting and the game setting also set all setting down to Medium, turn on the V-sync. Makes sure you've got latest beta drivers for AMD if you're on AMD as techpowerup got them latest drivers version 25.1.1 The reason it having an issues is because game was originally made for PS5.

So I guess the Nvidia thing may not be the only thing wrong, As you are having problems with an AMD 7900XTX.

But I understand your frustration, we live in hard times.
You do understand that the OP listed the system specs too. Why not call him out about it or is it because he's a YouTuber? I can not see anything wrong with people listing their specs. As long as they don't come into a thread and start shouting like, Your PC is rubbish get a better one like me, Mine is the best, Your GPU is not good enough get the latest 5090 etc etc!

Edit....

Having said that. I personally think most of the problems people are facing are due to Nvidia and their drivers. I've avoided updating to the latest Nvidia driver and am still using version 566.36. Seems to be running fine. Only had 1 crash up to now. Let's hope the fixes will come quickly for people.
But OP wasn't "of coursing" one of his required components.

Same here. Somehow, my VRAM and RAM usage continues to spike up which caused my fps to go down dramatically. Hence, need another patch to address memory leak.
