game wont start with mods

my mods wont let me start the game, just get a black screen that never goes away, any idea how to fix it?

do you have a skip intro mod? that could be it. also use overstrike for mod management

If you're already using overstrike, try deleting your toc files, every new game update will likely require this:
Go to the game's root folder, you should find a "Tok" & "Toc.BAK" file
Delete BOTH
Verify Files
After, install your mods like usual with Overstrike & other than the black screen from the game loading, it should work fine again till the next game update.

You guys really need to know how SM modding works.

Every time the game gets updated you have to delete the toc and toc.bak file (coz each update creates a completely new toc) and verify to get back to vanilla status, then reinstall all mods.
