Game Freezes While Swinging To Load Textures
While swinging the game will freeze, but not like it's about to crash. Particles and other effects will still appear and there's a loading icon next to the minimap. The textures also appear to be very low and blurry. After a few seconds everything renders properly and unfreezes. This happens every few minutes while swinging and it's starting to get annoying.

Same thing happens during cutscenes, but at this point I'm sure everyone is aware of that issue.

Anyone else have this issue?

It's a directstorage bug.
I had it too.
Rename the files dstorage.dll and dstoragecore.dll (like for example dstorage.dllBACK) and you will solve the problem

Works, thanks man
The dsstorage.dll deletion or relocation does not fix the issue and i have the same problem every 5-10 seconds the game freezes up with audio still playing and the spider loading symbol appears. Rtx 4070 ti i7 9700k
Have you found any solution?

I don't understand. What exactly did you do to solve this problem? Did you simply add the word "Back"?

It works deleting the files too, Its the same that renaming
Me switching to an NVME m.2 SSD drive corrected this issue. And I have an i7 3770k processor running this game flawlessly.

Deleting the files is working??

Shouldn't be necessary. NVMe SSD is required for this game.
You know the meaning of Shouldn't be ?
