Worth buying or too broken?
It seems 50/50 whether you have a perfect time with this game or a hellish one, regardless of your specs--worth buying right now or has Nixxes said anything about a serious patch coming up?

I suggest holding off on purchasing this port right now as it has some major issues that need to be sorted out. Wait for it to be patched into working order and wait for a sale is the order of the day.

Not worth buying until a major fix. The game just keeps crashing
The couple of patches we've gotten so far have significantly improved my experience, but if you can wait I'd give it another month maybe.

I've 26hrs bought it on launch only crashed about 4 times total. most of which after the patch.

For me, I've crashed once in 13 hours of playing.

Remember If purchasing off Steam you have a 2-hour refund window to see if your PC will handle it.

it plays and i would not consider it hellish on my i7 13700k and rtx 3070 fe at around 45-60fps at 1440p, dlss and at high settings w/ ray tracing on high, but just wait a month or so for it to get patched up better. i've had one crash, but that's because i was trying to push this game at max settings w/o ray tracing.
I skipped all the replies, so if i"m repeating something someone else already said, meh.

Imo absolutely worth buying. I wouldn't lie and say it was a perfect experience as I did have a couple of crashes, and there was a few times that I couldn't complete a crime activity, but there was absolutely nothing game-breaking or progress halting. (across 30 hours I had about 6 crashes total and none had me replaying missions) The story was great and around the midway point there's a whole bunch of wild ass ♥♥♥♥ that was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome that I did not see coming.

If you haven't played the first one and Miles Morales, definitely play those first, because this is a direct sequel to both of those. Once the Steam wide ban on my main account wears off on March 4th I'll be putting up a full and proper review recommending the game (normally I would just link to my review) but coming from someone who got every achievement in the first 2; yes you absolutely should play this one.
Still needs more work, but much better now. As others have said, if you want it at the standard of the previous two games, wait a bit longer but it's playable right now apart from some annoying bugs (visual trails that you have to follow in certain missions don't show up, sometimes you'll need to quit to menu and hit Continue again to avoid other snags, that kind of thing).
Amazing story, fantastic gameplay...

Unfortunately, it's a little too broken to recommend at the moment. Wait until it's fixed.
i have 25 hours or so in the game and it usually crashes when ever I die
