Worth buying or too broken?
It seems 50/50 whether you have a perfect time with this game or a hellish one, regardless of your specs--worth buying right now or has Nixxes said anything about a serious patch coming up?

As much as I had a good time, the last patch has made crashes happen a bit too frequently. Not insanely frequent, but one every hour or two. Enough for me to say hold off on buying for now.

Yeah, even once an hour sounds painful. Thanks for sounding off

Also, if you're planning on playing on MnK (which I don't recommend regardless), there's currently a big bug with mouse sensitivity being WAY too high
Wait at least 6 months. It's too broken atm both in terms of bugs and performance.

But I do recommend. Good luck turuning with your wingsuit on controller lol.
In the case of The Last of Us Remastered the development needed 3 month to bring the game into a stable and well playable state. I would wait, too.

If you have a cpu that is intel and is a i7 or above and is newer than 12th generation or AMD have an AMD cpu that is 7000 series or higher with at least 8 cores you can delete direct storage files which will free up gpu headroom and make the game run better. Combining this with frame generation will make the frame rate much better than nothing but if you plan on gaming on a lower end cpu or no frame generation I would not recommend it as the frametiming for raw hardware generated frames is really bad currently and 1% lows are really bad aswell.

its not bad ive noticed it only crashes for me when im in a cutscene
cant speak for others, but my experience was out of 40 hours, it crashed to desktop twice. pretty manageable for me.

At this point I'd say no. It either crashes a bunch or not much, depending on who you are. I have a feeling that in 2 weeks 99% of these issues are going to be resolved so if you haven't already picked it up I'd just wait.

Like you hear it only crashes in cut scenes... there are tons of cut scenes. All story missions are rife with them and they are often in the middle of the event, and before and after, the school one has about 6 different cut scenes during the mission, for example, and every one of those has a non-zero crash chance.
Anecdotal: I had rare crashes on launch. A lot more crashes after the first patch.

Yesterday, after the 2nd patch I played for over 3 hours withotu a single crash.
