WHY ARE THE TRAILS BROKEN

so, i have a ryzen 7700 and a rtx 4060. the game runs well, even with ray tracing. theres only one big problem. any of the trail quests, lets say the one where (spoiler) a hunter beast is going through PTSD and youre following a trail to lead yourself to it, so you can give it to this blind lady because shes allergic to dogs, and this one would be fine since its made out of metal. Anyway, any quest like that that makes you follow a trail, idk why but NONE of the trails show. is it like a setting, am i high? please someone help me and nixxes please fix this

Try to reload the last Checkpoint while in Mission - at least that helped me in a Mission where u have to follow a trail

mine was bugged but I just walked around and it shows you the marker if you get little bit to far away from the trail

as suggested above, try reloading chekcpoint. I had this happen when i had to find grandpa, his inhaler trail didn't show.
