I don't care about Peteer's relationship troubles, I do not care about Miles' high school drama. I don't want to ride a ****ing bike... I just want to swing from buildings man. Every main mission makes the hair on my neck stand up, because I'm afraid I'm going be pulled out of the spider suit and be made to walk around for 20 minutes.

There is nothing stopping you from swinging around the city, sure some of this stuff is a slog but don't let it ruin the rest of the experience. It's a very small part of the game and you get a good chunk of xp out of completing them, if it's really that bad just mute the dialogue, chuck on a podcast in the background and focus on completing the levels for the xp.

Trust me, I had to do the same with Borderlands 3, that story was atrocious, couldn't stand the characters and how irritating they were.
