Parry Mechanic
I think the parry mechanic is dumb. Not only is it almost always better to just be in the air, where you're immune to so many more damaging attacks, but then in boss fights where you're kinda forced to use it, it's really inconsistent timing and doesn't do that much damage when you land it since the boss barely staggers at all.

I think the game would have just been improved had the parry mechanic never been introduced and the boss fights reworked to reflect that fact. The perfect dodge already accomplishes the same thing, why did we need a second, worse mechanic to almost never use?

ok, but have you considered parrying is cool?
I agree its dump for two Reasons:
1.) Its buggy as you mentioned the timing is broken.
2.) In the Hectic of a battle you have never the time to know is the red Spider sense now for dodge or parry and if you choose wrong you are out of the flow and get hit.

Spiderman was allways a fluid combat with fast reactions needed but now with parry its pure RNG Based if you can avoid damage.

I hate, realy hate it. Sorrounded from enemies and you get at the same time attacked with parry and dodge timing attacks. Sometimes i dominate a fight but im not realy satisfied for the reason it was button mashing and the other time i get killed and can not say i did anything wrong i noticed.
