There already is a mod for Venom. You can play as him and walk around. You can even get into combat encounters. The only issue is that when you start to jump around or do any kind of real transversal, it will just crash.

Thats lame…
Hopefully as the modding gets more and more popular they can fix that and adjust him for these out of mission scenarios
