brooklyn visions quest not working

I'm trying to start the quest line but the starting backpack is floating in the air and wont let me start it

I seem to have the same problem. I completed the Amends mission, I remember some popup about a Brooklyn Visions mission, and the BV Club Fair mission is at my Missions screen. But there's no map icon and when I head over to the Academy anyway, there is, indeed, a floating backpack which I cannot interact with. Not sure about the Ganke call supposedly informing me of the mission. I don't remember getting it i think...

I'm just gonna keep playing for now (that might be the solution anyway?) but if anyone can put my mind at ease about this it'd be nice.

So for anyone running into this in the future. "Keep playing" is the solution. I finished the next main mission with Peter, switched to Miles, and got the call from Ganke, and the quest marker appeared.
