Ryzen 9 7950x3d , 4080 super
High settings with raytracing.
Dlss Quality mod + Generation.
max fps 190 , min 135.
I capped it to 120 fps
No crash for me
Good for you. Not everyones is.
Try doing a clean driver reinstall and make sure you run stock clocks to test if it works.
I don't think that is what they were doing, my PC is stronger in this case so that wouldn't have been helpful either way. My desktop is a 4090 and i've gotten the crash a few times there, my laptop has a 4070 and I played for a little over a half hour yesterday with no crash so i'm not sure what the issue is. There's also no chance the 4070 laptop chip was running cooler than the 4090 was, so I don't really know.
Anyways my 3090 overheats when playing this game and I have it in a AIO water cool system so I find it really bizarre. Haven't had an issue with any other game for over a year but this game comes around and either I get a DXGI error, the game freezes up my whole computer or the GPU overheats and crashes making my monitors go black and have to hard restart my PC. I really don't get what's going on as none of my other games cause this to happen. Even turned off RayTracing, DLSS, Frame Gen, lower the graphics and still DXGI errors or just recently today my card overheated after lowering the settings.
I even have my card slightly undervolted to lower temps.
Here's everything I did in between when I posted and testing just now.
1. Updated my motherboard's chipset as I saw missed an update last month.
2. Restored windows Performance Counters (my Intel Extreme Tuning Utility wouldn't work)
3. Adjusted my i5-13600KF using IETU and set the Performance Core Ratio from x51 to x49 as prior to this I'd run this so my system wouldn't crash while compiling shaders for games. This seems to be a known problem with 13th and 14th gen intel processors and while I do have the BIOS update that should fix it I'm not 100% sure that it did fix it fully.
I BRING UP THE CPU ISSUE AS FREQUENTLY WHEN MY SYSTEM CRASHED IN THE PAST FROM COMPILING SHADERS THE ERROR MASQUERADED AS A GPU PROBLEM WHEN IT WAS ACTUALLY A CPU ISSUE.
Anyways yeah I'm running the game with my RTX 3090 slightly undervolted but not enough to affect performance, my i5-13600KF PCR set to x49 instead of x51. While playing I monitored my temps (Afterburner for GPU and IETU for CPU Package Temp) and for the whole hour my GPU was staying under 80°C and my CPU Package Temps were sitting between 74-78°C while occasionally hitting 83°C for brief periods.
Haven't experienced crashing yet and I've been playing with DLSS, Ray Tracing on High Preset (tweaked object range to 4) and using FSR FrameGen. Again I was only able to test for an hour but playing for roughly an hour or less is usually when my system would crash or I'd get a DXGI error.
Will come back when I can test some more and report if things are still stable. It might be worth anyone having these problems to check your system files and make sure it's running okay. I don't know exactly what Performance Counters for windows does but it seems mine were corrupted somehow so I manually restored them.
Doesn't allow optimising games on nvidia app, but for this particular game, it works.

I'll try it out myself and share an update.
Yes, I am also facing constant crashes with latest version of drivers.
Yes. I managed it.
It was actually quite simple.
What I did was, I uninstalled and refunded the game.
