A memory leak?
RTX 3080 ti. After startup the game runs fine, but gradually (if the game doesn't crash lol) the fps drops to unplayable values. This happens at any tracing settings, with or without any reconstruction model.
I played TLOU part 1 on release and I think even that port was better than this garbage

How You can compare TLOU 1 to Spider-Man 2 when we are talking about graphics. Just lower your settings, update everything and debloat Windows. Isn’t that simple?
Memory leaks tend to be universal, and that's not happening to me and a lot of other people, so I'd guess it's something else. Not that you should be happy with that, of course. This is very disappointing, and I hope they trace and fix the problem soon.
Did you happen to play Ragnarok as well?, I have similar issues to what you are discribing, where eventually entire pc becomes unresponsive even after shutting the game, and SpiderMan2 have exact same issue as Ragnarok for me, only fix is restart of entire PC, other Sony games didn't had this issue, didn't play TLOU but ghost of Tsushima runs absolutely fine.

I've seen a few reports of performance drops even on more powerful systems than mine, but apparently it's not as common as crashes. That said, I'm not experiencing any problems anywhere else and have no idea what the cause could be if not this game

I played ragnarek when it came out and it worked fine. Spider Man 2 is the first game in a long time that I have had this many problems with
I think I might have found a culprit I need someone to confirm

Sorry that its in Polish but on screenshot you can see my GPU memory is borderline filled up, I have played the game for an hour and half till first sutters happend and quit, its been sitting at full GPU Memory for half hour now, can someone with this issue confirm that they have similar problem?

As a result of this, entire PC is sluggish, its not possible to browse internet, oppening folders take forever and it will remain so untill PC restart, so far only Spider-Man2 and GoW ragnarok have this issue.
Sounds more like your PSU is failing to provide proper power to your GPU.

I couldn’t remember which game it was. I thought it was either the either Spider-Man or miles morales, but you are right. This happened to me in Ragnarok as well. I got burnt out on that one and stopped playing it so I completely forgot.

No my PC is fine, If I had this issue in other games I would agree but I play a lot of games, and only Spider Man 2 and GoW Ragnarok had this issue, I have a hunch, I played Horizon on PC just fine and I bet if I would upgrade to remaster it would have similar issue as well.

If it would be power delivery issue, PC would hard crash under heavy load but I can render videos and do benchmarks, that max out both CPU and GPU and its perfectly fine.
