Report a translation problem
In case of Ratched and Clank it turned out to be a bug in the configuration, so maybe this is the case with Spider Man 2 as well because of the same engine (As i don't have it, i can't test it).
If you navigate to your installation folder you will se the file:
"steaminput_manifest.vdf"
,next to the exe of the game.
If you open the file in an editor and scroll down to almost the end you will se some lines regarding the Switch Pro Controller config:
"controller_switch_pro"
{
"0"
{
"path" "steaminput_config_switch_pro.vdf"
}
}
The only problem was, that the file steaminput_config_switch_pro.vdf does not exist. However there is the file: "steaminput_config_switchpro.vdf"
Long story short: Simply rename the existing file "steaminput_config_switchpro.vdf" to "steaminput_config_switch_pro.vdf"
Since than i never had problems with the controller.
I can confirm this fixed it for me. Thank the lord. Such a simple blimmin error as well. Thank you, P Buck.
