Controller/Gamepad not working fixes

Upon buying and launching game, I had no controller input. I own both a xox and generic Amazon controllers. Both of which did not work. After a half hour of troubleshooting I found this YouTube video which fixed my issue. I hope it will fix your controller why no input too and I suspect it will work for other games as well; this is not the first game I had controller with no input issue likely because of this. Solution #1 fixed it for me. Best of luck and happy gaming.

Just enable steam input and generic controller support, disable xbox and etc. controller support.
That is if steam can detect the controller even, if not, then yeah you need some drivers for 'em.

It ain't rocket science.
