The game runs at a locked 60 fps for me with high settings + high RT. 1440p with DLSS Quality. No stuttering or crashes.
I have a 4070 Ti Super and a 5900X with 32 GB RAM.
They could have run out of digital copies to rent you at full price.
Waiting for a week or two to see if the game performs well, if you can ignore the neo-religious writing and character design, is not an option.
Self-control is no longer a virtue. Sad.
AMD cpus (ryzen) are NOT known to have issues in games. They perform better than Intel. Intel are the ones who are in deep ♥♥♥♥, in the CPU market right now. I have been running an 7800x3d, since its release and haven't encountered problems.
And then you mix in nvidia, which has nothing to do with ryzen.
However, i do agree that it would be nice to have a high end GPU competitor to Nvidia.
Please go check out reviews of current AMD cpus, before spreading actual lies.
4090/14900/32 GB DDR5
4K 240FPS on a 4080 that's bad though, I get 480fps at 4K with DLAA on my 2060 super.
