Whats wrong with MJ's face?
She was way more different and cute back in the first game, what happened to her face? Did they recast her or someone at insomniac decided that she was too beautiful?

Are there aney mods to fix her?

probably will be released in the following week or so given that the game hasn't been out for more than 24 hours... but yea i agree mj looks weird

I was also in mild shock seeing her, I really thought reddit/online was blowing it out of proportion, but I kinda agree she doesn't even look like the same person from the 1st title. Not "ugly" just not legit same person in my eyes...

the model was actually exported and confirmed the exact same, its just the hair and lighting that makes her look different.

The worst thing about that change is that it would have been fine if that happened within a new continuity. I mean, that MJ still looks familiar. But honestly, the way they changed her look reminds me of what happened to Batman characters within the DC Animated Universe : unexplained changes in an already established continuity. The comics did give in-universe explanations for some of said changes but their canonicity was questionable.

As a franchise, Spider-man is know to have reboots from time to time. Whatever happened to Mary Jane in Spider-man 2 simply feels like disrespect towards the fans

Blackrock and Vanguard don't care about financial losses, they care about cultural control. If they control the culture they can control you purchasing habits in the future and control what you own and thus own you.

They're playing a long game. Just like Tencent is playing a long game in killing Western studios to replace them with domestic ones (and it's working).

well i personally own the first one but i DEFINITELY wont be buying this one and i DEFINITELY will complain because i wouldve bought it if it wasnt whatever this woke abomination of a "videogame" is.

Which makes infinitely more sense than you defending a game that you dont own.

He suffered from vitiligo which he then treated with Benoquin. This caused a depigmentation of his skin.

He's also been dead for 15 years which doesn't help his skin and especially face either.
