Can't move after Captain America frisbee cut scene

Using a series x controller. Game accepted an A button input to progress a UI menu note about Photo Ops and accepts Pause/Select menu activation as well as menu navigation with all buttons. Accepts these inputs from the series x controller and the keyboard. However, I am unable to move Spider-man off his perch -- anyone else having this problem? I have restarted from last checkpoint, quit to start menu and reloaded, and quit the game and rebooted the game. Any ideas?

Can confirm restarting my laptop seems to have disabled whatever was previously causing the softlock -- I can move again.

Your mistake was incorrectly assuming Captains identity as american so the game punished you for assuming.

He goes by just "Captain" these days.
Please respect his identity choices.

Ah ok, I should've just called him "Captain Frisbee"

Or maybe even then I'd still be assuming he disproportionately associates with frisbees

I have the exact same issue and have been talking with support and my best piece of advice is
REFUND THE GAME
Hit them in their wallets they won't fix this half finished port unless their money is hurt

Only thing I could do is abandon mission. But if I try it again it soft locks again.
