Horror movie eyes
In cutscenes from time to time the character's eyes go all black. Creepy. I don't know if that is caused by a specific setting. Does anyone experience this too?

I have the same problem!
Saw the same thing in a few cutscenes for me. Too bad the game is crashing too.

Yeah, I can live with the eyes, but the crashes....
The eyes I was almost ready to draw the line - but the crashes I had to. Just gonna have to wait for a patch.
For the crashes turn off frame gen if you are using it, that was the only thing to fix it for me after a driver reinstall
No frame gen for me. I feel like the crashing is so significant that it will actually require a patch. 3080 + 9800x3d w/ 64gb ddr5. No ray tracing on high settings and about every 5 to 10 mins a crash to desktop with the DXGI error.

I do have DLSS on though, haven't tested with it off if the crashes stop.

I think I found the issue, it seems all the weird lighting issues are caused by XeGTAO for ambient occlusion. Had an instance where the scene wasn't rendering properly at swapping off of it solved the issue.

Hmm this may be worth trying, but I can't remember if I switched it from XeGTAO to HBAO+. I may try this tomorrow to see if that's what's triggering it. How long have you been able to play in a session without crashes once swapping off? And what did you swap over to?

I turned off ambient occlusion completely and haven't crashed since so far. I also turned the ray tracing settings hopefully for a lighter load

Thanks this is good to know. And I've had ray tracing completely off and still get the crashes.
