Can't swing with PS5 controller

I have a ps5 controller and the game won't recognize R2 trigger for swinging. I've tried connecting via bluetooth and usb. Are there any fixes?

I had this problem in the original game as well.

i've tried 3 different cables, 3 different ports. USB A to USB C, USB C to USB C. Rebooted my computer 3 times.

Will not connect. I can do everything but swing and use R2/L2.

My controller is up to date on firmware. I've tried bluetooth as well

Have you tried disabling steam controller support? It helped me with some games, using ds4 controllers before, the steam support enabled messed up the controller imputs for me

Oh make sure you have Steam Settings > Controller > PlayStation Controller support set to enabled or enabled in games w/o support (mine is set to the second and worked fine.)

Idk if youll read this but i had the same issue and it turned out to signal rgb messing with it so maybe thats it
