PC restarting when activating HDR in game

I've never seen this happen before, only in this game, when I start it with the HDR option enabled or turn it on in the in-game options, it causes my computer to restart.

Updated nvidia driver
RTX 4080
5800x3d
32gb RAM 3600mhz
PSU 850w

I actually had this happen - monitor flickered like I changed inputs on the tv. I noticed everything was washed out because the screen came back with no HDR on. Went into settings to turn it back on and the PC restarted.

They have a lot to work on in patching this game. I think the new driver may also need work.
