🤦Mixed Reviews!! ?
Appreciate The Game for what it is!

Spider-Man 2 has been out on PlayStation for more than a year. U knew what this game is like yet you find it problematic and need to complain.

Review the game on the merits of the artistic visions of the developers - and on the top notch quality gameplay. Not on the technical problems you have with your own weak PC.

Sometimes I get 2nd hand embarrassment from PC Gamers. If you want to have fun and support more big AAA games on PC then change how you review PC ports at release. This is not how to welcome cool console games.

EDIT:
If you have mid end hardware please stop

If they can't play it, they review it based on their tech. Reviews aren't just "How's the game?" it's if the game will run and how it runs.
Well, people bought the game, and it crashes even on top-end PCs. The whole problem is with frame generation and RT. As soon as Nixxes fixes these problems, the rating will be higher.

You are being overly critical. Balance your reviews.
the game is a broken mess what do you expect?

Game is broken for most players. Runs like Crap. The Devs didn't do their Job and YOU want that WE write good Reviews for them? Get a Life you Shill.

They charge Money for it, they get heat for it if it is broken and guess what? Broken it is!

For someone who doesn't own the game on PC, you shouldn't talk about the ones who do and you definitely shouldn't tell them how to review PC games.

What if you bought the game on Steam and it ran badly/poorly for you, would you ignore that to focus on "the merits of the artistic visions of the developers"?

A lot of people are having issues with the game, do they all have a "weak PC"? usually, I see many Steam users having beast machines and they still have trouble playing newly released games/console ports (cause the games can't handle it) so, don't speak about things you do not know.

People will review games however they wish, you can't tell them how to do it and what to focus on while doing so.

I think it is okay to review on the basis that it does not work well on your PC as long as it follows the min specs.
If there is just a few who are creating bad reviews it would not affect the ratings of the game.
If many have problems then it is a broader issue.

I loved the former Spiderman Game and am in an action game phase so I just bought it.
I don't know how I will feel about it.

That said. Bad reviews because you don't like the genre och that the game wasn't following political view is no bueno.

If it goes against what is claimed then of course you can review it poorly.
Or if you just happen to find it boring or good.

As long as it is something with the quality of the game.

Weak PCs? my dude have you seen the specs required? And cross reference that with the steam hardware surveys? You will find that MOST PC players own a Pc that is greater than the minimum required.

I get second hand embarrassment from console fanboys. The game is broken and running poorly for most people. We will not just give a game 10/10 just for being a AAA cause thats part of how AAA gaming got into the state it is now.

What do you want? Us to give it a pass for running poorly? no we wont. Besides most of us have a backlog far greater than a single AAA game. No Nixxes dropped the ball on this. they will not get a pass and we will change reviews when they fix their mess. If they dont? then we keep reviewing the game poorly. Simple as that as thats how reviews work.
Maintain your OS better. The game is good.

Many of you always review bomb good games on day 1 for various reasons. And it is seldom the product itself, but rather the circumstances around the game itself - be it DEI, Technical Reasons, lack of day a 24 hour day 1 patch etc etc

The end result is the same. You nitpickers always give great awesome games a negative review based on your own shortcomings.

Time to stop the negativity. Take pleasure from the gameplay even if you can't get the game to run optimized on day 1.

Lower your graphical options and start having fun instead of giving the games bad reviews.

Ok, it's not ideal. And it's extremely CPU intensive. And I'm sure a lot more optimizing can be done. But it's not THAT bad. I've got it running at 60fps on high preset with RT.

I have the game on PC and it runs perfectly fine on my ~7 year old hardware with an ultrawide monitor. Not sure what everyone is complaining about, looks great on high settings with RT on and I haven't had a crash in the 2 hours I've played so far

Finally someone with common sense.

Not only is it a mess on launch, it's also region locked along side many other PS titles.
The low ratings are well deserved.

As I mentioned in the post above, it is always the circumstances and not the game itself.

- In your case:
You are basically giving a negative outlook because of the region you yourself live inside. This equates to giving one of the best Japanes videogames ever made back in the 90s a bad review because you live in the United States and have yet to get hold of the game.

Can we please start reviewing games based on gameplay, design, graphics and sound again?

Getting tired of younger gamers who give great games bad reviews because of their own shortcomings. Re-learn how to enjoy videogames and gaming again for God's sake! :blasbaby:
