Playstation controller prompts
Is the in game prompts shown wrong for everyone else?

In the first part of the game, certain moves are wrong, like for example, it shows to press Square on Sandman's face, but it's actually supposed to be Triangle

And it shows Square + Circle is for finishers when I believe it's actually Triangle + Circle?
It's rather confusing, I hope this'll get fixed.

Ah thank you, It worked afterwards, it shows Xbox input now even though I've got a PS4 controller XD

But that's fine, I'm very familiar with that layout and can adapt.

That’s strange. I’d assume it could support PS4. Have you tried it wired?

It probably could and my settings are flawed

I use DS4 Windows, since when I disabled Steam Input, the game couldn't recognize the controller

as for wired, I haven't tried that yet.

I had the same issue of my controller not being recognized after disabling steam input at first (through the steam overlay), but after restarting and disabling steam input through properties instead I got my controller to be recognized without having to use third party software.

If you haven't tried this yet I recommend it if you don't want to play through ds4.

Disable both steam input and Ds4 Windows and the just play it with the controller plugged in. Ds4Windows is why it's broken. You don't ever need to use that program while using steam because even on games that don't have Dualshock/Dualsense support, you can just use steam input to recognize your controller as an Xbox controller, without DS4W. game should have its own controller support like the previous 2 so it's gonna conflict with both steam input and Ds4Windows if they're both on

You misunderstand, I never did have it active at the start, I was solely using Steam Input

I only used DS4Windows after I noticed issues and disabled Steam input.

I installed a new DS4Windows by Ryochan7 (2024 release) mine must've been way out of date, went into the controller settings and changed the emulated controller to PlayStation, then restarted my computer

but before you can do that, make sure you install what it tells you to first, the guide it has is simple to follow.
