it's funny you point out that there're a lot of people criticizing something, and the only respone you can come up with is, "why is there another person criticizing the same thing?" -- like .. maybe there's a valid point for the criticism in the first place?
That being said, its up to developers. they can set midnight release if they want but the default is just 4-5pm or something.
i know how time zones work. counter-questions: do the devs/publisher know that time zones outside of their own exist? bc right now they releasing the game around the globe at an arbitrarily chosen time. some regions like asutralia and japan won't even have a release on jan 30, despite being promoted for that day.
00:00 where? Where you live?
Because if it was 00:00 for each region, you know what your thread would be, right? "Release on 30th is a joke. New Zealanders are already playing: unfair! We demand a worldwide standard"
Just buy 1gb internet and you don't need a preload, lol. Your whole post is just whining that YOU won't be able to play at launch.
You know what will happens when EVERYONE will start download games in same time, severs will be overwhelmed and you will be downloading like 1 MB/s.
Learn to live with that, you are not main character sometimes and your points are bad points.
Yes its bummer to not have preload, but you writing about something what is not issue and its launching at 17:00.
no, you're wrong. it's about waiting 16 hours (or 17?) before actually being able to purchase a game. if the publisher say "jan 30" i expect it to be available from jan 30 0:00. they could've given more specific time windows for release, but they didn't.
