This is not how "shadow drop" works
Game literally comes tomorrow on Steam yet Sony refuses to market this event on its official channels, as if the company wants to "surprise" us with a impactful release. This would only happen with a thing called "shadow drop", when something is suddenly released without any previous communication, like when GOG released Dino Crisis 1 and 2 today or Xbox released Ninja Gaiden 2 Black past week or when Beyoncé released her self-titled album back in 2013. Yet this is not the case here, Sony is just negligent with the release of Spider- Man 2 on PC, which is puzzling.
I wonder if Sony is sabotaging the PC Ports in purpose to excuse not releasing them anymore for "low sales". 🤔

I think they changed the standard/deluxe edition policy at the last minute. The game will be without the ability to buy the standard. Since the deluxe version included everything that was in the pre-order, everyone who pre-ordered the game would get the same as those who buy the only available full deluxe version. At the moment there are only two or three Sony games with a separate deluxe. I think they were deciding whether to release the only available complete version or pre-order and upgrade to deluxe. Note that the upgrade was removed from the page

Sony did a right thing for once removing that ridiculous requirement of PSN Account for its games here on PC. :vaultkey: :yayzombie:
