It has been warranted though. No pre-order or specs, when TLOU2 has pre-order already and it's not out on PC for another 2 months. The current fires in LA is most likely the reason for the lack of attention for this title, or like some others said, waiting for Nvidia.
No, it hasn't been. It went into mental gymnastics territory extremely fast.
But for them it was warranted. Just because some of us have patience, doesn't mean everyone does. I fully understand why some people went haywire over it, especially since other games have pre-order that are from Sony.

That wasn't about patience. It seemed a lot more like the situation aggravated preexisting mental health issues.

The bridges they built were so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb, they could be broken by looking at pretty much any other game release in the past 10+ years. It was ridiculous.

Well, it has always been like this. Nothing new or alarming really. Who knows, perhaps it would be delayed, perhaps not. There wasn't a concrete way of knowing, until now that is.

Well, it has always been like this. Nothing new or alarming really. Who knows, perhaps it would be delayed, perhaps not. There wasn't a concrete way of knowing, until now that is.
Pretty much every reasoning for a potential delay brought up in these forums was non-sensical in the first place.

While this is fantastic news indeed...Its weird that they're unable to release a preorder or at the very least update the system requirements knowing that the game comes out in 23 hours (according to the store page countdown)

I am glad they finally confirmed, but, also still no system reqs? I don't see why either system reqs or pre-order would need to be withheld for this announcement.

Steam itself is drm Gog is the only drm free store.

If its a 5 minute job they could do it right now. It shouldn't take until launch day to have system specs on the store page.
