I don’t think so, I feel that if your pc ran Spider-Man remastered and miles morales good u should be fine, as those games are the PS5 versions on the PC anyway, and include RT at 60fps on PS5 like Spider-Man 2, main thing is going to be SSD, most notabley a fast NVME M.2, not just for loading but the games traversal as u swing much faster and can now glide even faster.
Why would it? You can always turn graphics to console standard and play it on a potatoe
most likely a RTX 4080 with low settings to get a stable 30 fps on FHD.

Yes, only the Nvidia H100 will run this!
No. SM2 graphics are not upgraded much from MM. If your PC can run SP1 Remastered and MM, you'll be able to run SM2 with maybe a small performance hit.

The things you would need a high end (Nvidia) GPU for are heavy RT options (like the ones introduced in the PC ports of the previous two games), but that's all they are... they're optional.

That's like saying if you're PC can run Doom Eternal, it will run Doom the Dark Ages (which we all know will require RT). With that being said, I'm thinking the minimum specs will be either a 2060 or a 2060 Super. Recommended could be 3060 Ti or 3070 to run the game comfortably.

I’m not saying the game will run just as good, and the doom analogy is just plain wrong as dark ages uses forced hardware RT, Spider-Man 2 does not, it will run fine if your pc ran Spider-Man remastered and miles, probably a 10-15 percent fps hit.

Yes, the game won't be that hard to run well on pcs who is capable of running the first one and Miles Morales. And i'm saying this, because the unofficial port of the second game, is running pretty well on my pc, and the other 2, runs just fine as well. My rig: Ryzen 5 3600, RX580 and 16gb ram.

Your Doom analogy is garbage, like the other guy said. I know its common to jump on the hate train for this so called "forced RT", but the fact of the matter is that in the idtech engines case the games (eg Indiana Jones) scale insanely well even on old hardware.

Try getting your facts from actual observation and deduction instead of regurgitating what other people are saying about games. Enough reviews and in-depth benchmarks around of Indiana Jones (eg Digital Foundry on YT) to give you an idea about how the new Doom game will run even on 5 year old hardware. I have a 5 year old 2080 max-q based laptop that runs Eternal at 140 fps high settings. It runs Indiana Jones at 100 fps high settings (medium on RT, no PT).
Doubtful. Everything will be fine. Bugs will be fixed with patches.
