At this stage of the game I'm not taking a social media team's/community manager's word when there's no movement on any front which suggests otherwise. There's a reason they aren't actually talking and updating things in any sort of official capacity and it's not because things are going smoothly behind the scenes.

Communicating with fans isn't that hard and yet here we are, nearly 48 hours from a supposed launch with zero details on when it actually releases, pre-order information, system specs, or anything.

Forcing a game dev to change plans for something that only a small percentage will actually use makes no sense. "We'll forgo the money preorders could have generated so that this small subset of people can make use of this product made by a completely different company that will be so new that issues will surely arise."
