Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is roughly the same length as the first game. The main story of Spider-Man 2 is estimated to take around 15-17 hours to complete, which is comparable to the first game's main quest length of about 17 hours. Including side content, Spider-Man 2 can take around 25-34 hours for a full completionist run, similar to the first game"
Okay, so I'm not going to bicker (like this thread does) about that issue any longer. I trust AI over these knee-jerk jerks. So, the last remaining issue is the actual content. By all appearances, the game is a knockout. Rave reviews, etc. And I find it interesting that the character development is so critically achieved (by the reviews I read). Miles doesn't trust Peter because of Peter's relationship with (?--the Lizard, Osborne....someone, I'm not sure...doesn't matter)...a super villain. So it's the third installment of the best iteration of Spider-man (I own the first two, but I haven't gotten around to playing them yet, I'm still trying to finish 2000's Activision one...no time for it)...but by the 95%+ reviews, it looks like it was money well spent and I'll get around to playing them someday. As an OG guy, I appreciate their straight pricing and $60/$70 for a starting price is, to me, not a big deal nowadays. At least they aren't trying to charge $6.99 for spidey suits and piecemeal the game to the point where a complete game would cost upwards of $250 or more. That practice is foul, to me. So it's a magnificent game that demands AAA pricing upon release. Get over it, cry babies. I'll wait for a discount because I'm probably not going to play it for years anyway, but that's the only reason. If I were one who plays the latest/greatest, I'd buy it without hesitation at $70. They sold 11 million like 8 months ago. So it's probably 13-15 by now. So they've made pretty good money, and they deserve it. I'm a spidey fan from childhood. My dad used to walk me on the walls so I could pretend to be Spider-man. (he did once, anyway) I remember drawing Spider-man in class when I was like in the 5th grade. So I'm truly fascinated by these latest video games. They are fluid, yet movie-quality in its animation. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I'm blown away by them and I'm personally grateful for them making them. I think they deserve $700 million to $1 billion for their masterpieces. Why not? Until we have SUB-atomic manufacturing and AGI, (where everyone can own gold toilets on their personal yachts...a classless society...billionaire class, to be precise), we should absolutely reward companies that are making our childhood fantasies come true. That's what this video game is to me. And to not make the companies responsible for it quite successful is stupid. I want them to make a billion so they make an even cooler game (eventually full immersion VR from billions of nanobots in our brains)...as technology evolves, we need to make sure companies like this are in a strong position to keep up with the advancements so someday we can have nanobots truly turn us into Spider-man...that's the new dream and it will happen if we're all cool Everyone become a Communist, like me. Everyone stop bickering about petty crap, unlike me...I love to bicker, obviously. And everyone just chill the f out, man! Have a nice day. I told you I was literally blown away, here it is: SPLAT...I'm dead now.
Since Trump became president and announced that the US government only recognizes two genders, many companies have started shutting down their diversity-related departments. He also signed a pact banning certain agendas at the federal level.
Now, Insomniac and Sweet Baby Inc. are in a tough spot: they’re unsure how to proceed — whether to tone down the narrative, remove it entirely, or find another solution. This is likely the reason behind the constant delays with the Spider-Man 2 pre-order
That's quite literally the dumbest thing I've read in a minute...and I use the internet daily, so that's saying something. Holy 💩, you're so wrapped up in your pointless and stupid identity politics that you don't even realize how absolutely stupid ALL of that sounds.
Now...maybe...just maybe...that's just pure sarcasm, in which case...it's still stupid.
Game releases but you can pre-order after the release lol
For the 5 skill points
Spider-man 1 sold: 20/21 million copies
Spider-man 2 sold: 11 million copies
Spider-Man 1 sold 13.2 million copies in 11 months. It sold over 20 million copies in 23 months, but we don't have any newer numbers for Spider-Man 2 or even current numbers for Spider-Man 1.
On top of that, PC gaming is starting to grow... But mostly people are ditching expensive consoles and just playing crap on their phones, sadly.
