battlefront 2 also sold close to 10 million units, yet it is known as one of the most flopped games for EA, causing them to abruptly end game live service and scrap all plans for subsequent 3rd title. but just because star wars IP is popular it still sold

? this game is fantastic. an actual AAA game that's worthy of the 3 letters. fun, high quality game play with amazing use of slower style story telling that helps break up the beat-um-up slug fest. If these guys worked in Hollywood this would shift the goal posts farther down the field. Woke/political what? its a game that fantastically tells a stupid story of a kid being bitten by a spider and turns it into 10/10 story and game play. wtf do you kids want!? im arguing that it was a flop because of small stupid decisions made by the studio which dont really affect the game, but caused a lot of controversies, and potentially sabotaged venom spin off and 3rd title

Not all spiderman games need to have the Peter Parker/Spiderman life style dynamic to work. They have never ever played Shattered Dimensions or Edge of Time or Web of Shadows otherwise.Which are some of the best titles

the first game was overated as well. i'm saying this because we already got 20 years of free roam spiderman games. all the way back to ultimate spiderman which also let you play as venom and terrorize the city. and yet, this game wont let you do it. what is different in 2018 game from previous spiderman games? a little bit better combat and good graphics, thats it. actually shattered dimention had much better boss fights and was much more fun to play. absolutly one of my favorite spiderman games ever. especielly the noir part with the stealth. you know, real stealth. not that nonesense in the 2018 one

The writing is just amateurish at best. For instance the Lizard quest when Pete is wandering through the Connor house and starts blaming Kraven for the Lizard's family leaving during the first Lizard incident like ten years previously. And Miles reasoning for Li is just ridiculous. He acts like Li busted out of prison with the specific intent on hunting down Miles mother and friends and the dude doesn't even know who Miles is. The entire game while flying (not webbing) around New York with Miles all you hear is "I have to catch Li to stop him from coming after my family" and "It's my job to protect my friends from Li not the other way around" It goes on waaaay too long.

Sooo much whining and worrying about stupid things when all we want to do is fight Venom and Kraven and see some Green Goblin foreshadowing.

I agree venom should of been a playable character more, especially since MJ is a playable character more than venom and nobody liked or wanted to do her parts in the 1st game or this one... I said it earlier but ill say it again, Ultimate Spider man on the ps2 was WAY better.

We can't all agree on that because it's simply not true. The game made back almost 3x its dev cost, got rave reviews, and won awards. There's not even a whiff of the game being a flop.
