Is this game woke?

After some time playing I'm leaning towards yes

The sooner you understand that this thing you call "woke" is more along the lines of inclusion of all walks of life so not to make others feel unwelcome, the sooner you will broaden your perspective. I mean that's the chill thing to do right? To welcome strangers into your home and make them feel welcomed. Right?

So of course games will have some level of "woke" in them and that's ok and I don't mind it. However it's when it gets rammed down your throats or replacing existing characters and colorism them just to make them less "white" is when it becomes pretty insulting and sure that level of "woke" is bad and shouldn't ever be welcomed because if the adverse effect was used say "alienating" a person that isn't "white" would be and has been just as bad.

With that being said, no the game isn't "woke" as you are thinking. It is inclusive of others and diverse and that's chill in my book and welcomed. Everyone should feel welcomed as long as it doesn't hurt others or impose beliefs onto others, then all is fair.

No? I mean, it's just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

There are non-white characters not shown as goons and thugs, if that's what you're asking, but it's a Spider-Man game just like the other Spider-Man games that depicts the world as a mostly good place with some bad guys that somehow have big powers and need to be stopped by flawed, but well-meaning heroes.

This is essentially the correct answer. There is some there, but it isn't really that bad. You will experience a Spider Man game more so than an agenda piece.
