Performance issues @4K?

Don't run this game on 4k if you don't have 16gb of vram or more. Had the same issue with every single other Playstation port. Final fantasy, Spiderman, ect. It's because the Playstation can utitlize up to 16gb of vram with how their setup is. Doesn't translate well to PC when porting.

Thank you,but this is obvious for graphical AAA in 2025. Also this is bad port from original PS5 game. Ray Tracing is defect, even Nvidia says please deactivate Ray Tracing. My gold is on a huge remaster sometime in the future for Spider-Man 2, full price of course, because a lot of work has to be done!

naah, just set upscaling to ultra performance, turn raytracing off (obviously), turn down settings to low-med and there you go. It should work equal or better than that dvd player.

You're sped af. 7900 XT is equal to 4070 Ti, and 7900XTX is equal to the 4080 Super. Also, the problem isn't raw power here, it's the memory leak the game suffers from later on into the story. This memory leak causes crashing to occur, not performance loss. Textures will also stream slower. You can play just fine at 4k native, high preset, with raytracing preset set to very high. You'll have 40 fps 1% lows with 64 fps averages, with those settings, on an RTX 4070 Ti
