It doesn't though..
Still crashing here right after the beginning movie. Tried Fullscreen/Exclusive Full Screen, Windowed.....DLSS on/off, DLAA on/off, 5 of my "15" hours played have been watching the opening movie just to crash right after. How is this acceptable? I want to play a game I paid for. Absolutely frustrated. Currently running the 572.42 Drivers, was using updated and backdated before to try also. Running a I-9 13900k w/ 3080ti and 64g ram.

i'm 24hrs in no single crash yet, running 3080 10900 32gb

Crashes are due to frame generation and the three thousand do not have frame generation. and it is likely the reason due to the fact that the game implemented dlss4 too late just a few days after release and it is a coincidence that Nvidia launched the cards at this time

DDU the old drivers then install the new ones. This fixed things for me. I was unable to start the game with frame generation before, but the latest drivers seem to have fixed this.
Just select custom install and clean, it will be fine
DLSS Frame Generation crashes my laptop still

It's Nvidia's frame generation you still don't get it

Causes more stuttering for me. I never had a single crash either

So when I installed the new driver it says to do a uninstall of the old ones...... I did that but I had to restart my pc as it black screened so many times.

The following steps sorted this out and the game is working fine with fg and all bits turned on.

1 - uninstall driver from device manager
2- restart and install driver through app as is - no clean install
3 - restart and then do a clean install from the app
4 - my probs were solved.

Hope it helps some others - taken ages but the game is now fully playable with really good frame rates. 5800x3d, 4070ti super, 32gig, 4k, frame gen, balanced, all the goodies on. Doesnt dip below 70 and is frequently in 100+ fps

You need newer GPU RTX 50XX to run top games of 2025 and future without problem. Forget old systems!
ye After update DLSS I've no problem with the game and play nearly smooth at 2K max settings max ray tracing, DLSS Quality, Frame Gen On but RR need to go off for reducing a lot of noise and my vga's 4070ti and get avg 90-100+ Fps

It’s a problem with frame gen working with your monitors G-sync. Disable g-sync and all your games will work.
