BUG WITH: 5080 - MFG

Frame generation makes my spiderman game blink and lag, no matter if its MFG x3 or x4 or normal FG. As soon as I disable it, it stops blinking.

Just played for 5 minuts without G-sync & framegeneration. Game suddenly freezes and fps counter says 1fps. Then my pc restarts.
I dont wanna hurt my pc, so I leave this trash game for now. It dont work with 50-series cards I guess

The game is fine. Nvidia just had a terrible launch with the 50-series cards, and they're not on top of it yet. The drivers are horrible for those cards. Please blame Nvidia instead of the game.

The game cannot freeze/restart your PC. This is with 99.9% certainty a driver or hardware issue.

I finished the game on my 4070 Ti Super and didn't have a single crash. I've seen lots of people with 50-series cards report all sorts of issues.

I used FSR frame generation in combination with DLSS Quality. It worked really well.

Yeah FSR frame gen feels way better than the dlss version even though you get more frames with the dlss one. It's actually quite strange. I also have a 5080 so just play with FSR frame gen and DLSS quality as the person above said.

I had a freeze today, where the sound disapear, I could hear background sounds from the city, but dialog disappeard. 10 seconds after sounds disappear, my game froze and my pc restarted.

Sounds like something is up with your PC. Or maybe Nvidia still has crappy drivers for the 50-series. Please don't blame this game, it works perfectly well. It never crashed even once for me.

Restarts are always a hardware issue (power, heat etc.) or a bad low level driver.

the funny thing is, its only this game. I played LAST OF US PART 2 for hours and call of duty black ops 6 for hours without issues, its only this game.
UPDATE: Smooth motion also make the game lag, and in the main menu, I get only 40-60 fps. When disabled it runs 170-220fps
