PSN account requirement = NO BUY

This is completely unacceptable for a single-player game to require this Sony. Once again I will not be buying one of your games due to this reason.

EDIT: Another reason this is unwanted is the fact that Sony has a horrible track record of protecting consumer data.

Let's wait and see, lest it be a win similar to the Helldivers 2. Until these games are still region restricted, it is not a win.

I have no idea what everyone is fussing about free playstation account.
Not only that I don't mind it, I prefer it (as a completionists) the way they implemented it was that you get your playstation overlay - you get achievements on steam and trophies at the same time so no need to play this game for trophis on console too. I mean it's awesome.

they made it non mandatory, so there is nothing to complain to anymore.

And if the problem is protecting user data? I just don't see how it is a problem to give data that don't need portecting. You can awlays make stuff up when creating account. I did intentionaly have a made up name here and on Playstation. If I had my real name along too, that is because i CHOOSE to.
