PSN account requirement = NO BUY

This is completely unacceptable for a single-player game to require this Sony. Once again I will not be buying one of your games due to this reason.

EDIT: Another reason this is unwanted is the fact that Sony has a horrible track record of protecting consumer data.

So i think two scenarios are possible here. Bear with me cos one of them is gonna sound a bit crazy. So the first scenario is the obvious one. The manager or person(s) responsible are fking idiots and struggle to get dressed in the morning.

The second scenario is a bit more sinister. I wonder if they put that up there to attempt to extort money from the ignorant. So you have PC players who have never owned a ported game from PS4 before and they unwittingly sign up for a PSN account (possibly handing over money for PS plus). I know it sounds a bit left field, but with whats going on in the industry I certainly wouldn't put it past them.

Yes, requiring a third-party online account to play a single player game is nonsense. At least you got that right.

I fail to see why people shouldn't question (or complain) about arbitrary online requirements for a single player game. Previous single player PlayStation didn't have this dumb requirement, and some were even released on GOG. I think it is worth questioning PlayStation for this dumb requirement.

It's wild how people will get mad at others for complaining about anti-consumer practices like this. May just be paid bots by Sony, can't see what else could be a motivation for such behaviour.
