Ez, Imagine if Co-Op you can play as Harry Osborn Green Goblin or even Eddie Brock's Venom.
Miles doesn’t ha
I own Spiderman and Miles. I also fear the same thing. I really enjoyed Miles, but Spiderman is better because better has the better rogues gallery and I always play wearing the classic suit.
Also Since Concord cost $400 million to make which is equivalent of 2-3 games that due to reception made Sony cancel Naughty Dog's title (another $200 million) Customers that have purchased a PlayStation 5 are getting angry still waiting on quality output,
So i'm not sure if Wolverine or Spider-Man 3 are next and Sony highly depends on the big next game, i think that they should really be Cautious of Customer wants in their next move.
Good news is that another Batman game is in the works. 🙂
Rocksteady completely shifted their studio to a Live Service set up and since it's not the same veterans i'm not too optimistic that Rocksteady will be around much longer. RIP.
WB games did the same thing with Gotham Knightz. Hopefully they can change their working practices and save the studios.
Personally, i would love a Batman game set in the ReevesVerse — perhaps a Year One prequel to the first movie.
IMO if this was the real Rocksteady and not the impostor, they'd need to do something different from Arkham like a Clark to Superman trilogy or a Single Player Batman Beyond trilogy with it's futuristic setting and a younger Bruce Wayne would of been so awesome, but i know not to even let myself get excited anymore because if it's not some live service BS it's some other BS.
I mean Look at their Arkham Collection they just released, it runs awfully and they even cut out features which is exactly what happened to the Mafia 2 Remaster after Take 2 bought out and Closed Down the Legendary 2k Czech to give it to their friends in California Hangar 13 which HAD 0 games in their portfolio.
That's like giving GTA 6 to your pub buddy bcs they removed the Italian mafia main protaginist that was ALREADY made and changed it to must 'be a black man' vietcong vet, More importantly The skybox was awful and there was lights coming out of the buildings, when it first launched so buggy.
That's when i realized the sheer amount of nepotism bad developers rising up the industry.
Yep it's the Arkham Collection, i have the games already but i was thinking oh how cool to have a definitive complete collection of Arkham in one case for my Physical Collection.
And so i first went around looking for reviews, gameplay, gained abit of info and low and behold Not only was it all the above i had mentioned but it also does not even include Arkham Origins, that turned out to be my favourite along with Arkham city. So naturally i didn't get it.
And this goes to show that the people in charge don't know what the f they are doing, or what the people with the actual money called Customers want. They take over companies by nepotism or whatever and then when they have all the responsibility tank everything to the ground.
Meanwhile we can't get jobs there because of some dumb nonsense on another.
Spiderman is Peter Parker, that's it.
Miles is just a side kick... I wouldn't mind him being in SM3, but if he takes over Peter, I will buy this game on a steep sale.
If Miles isn't in Spider-Man 3 you can justify Miles coming in to help Spider-Man in SM2 as the stakes were considered high due to the villains or something and Spider-Man had not yet reached his full potential. Not only is it problematic due to the reasons we mentioned but because Robin is his own towards Batman where as Miles takes attempts to embody Spider-Man's Archetype and Super powers instead of being his own independent Hero with his own unique powers.
So you can save face by saying Spider-Man needing MJ to rise to the occasion and have extra help along the way, but when we come to a Close for Spider-Man 3 trilogy Peter Parker needs to be shown as abit older, naturally more experienced & the Hero reaching his full potential that everybody sees. The stakes are higher but now he can do it, now he is Spider-Man, before he needed help to slay the Dragon but now he can do it on his own, Save his friends, family, MJ and save the kingdom so to speak. Reaching his peak. That's a natural progression, how it's told is up to them but playing as protagonist Miles will get in the way for the last one for sure.
