1.05 patch for GOG version?

GOG version frozen on 1.04 version which still has horrendousfps drops when selecting worker units. Game is literally unplayable. Is it possible to add latest patch to GOG version?

Unfortunately, no. The patch was actually ready and I've uploaded it to Steam. I was about to get ready to bring the fix to GOG as well, but the creators of the SunBurn engine have suddenly stopped supporting their engine and have shut down their activation servers. This means I can no longer validate my SunBurn Studio license and therefore, cannot ever build the patch. The code is there, the fix is ready, but I can't make an EXE file out of it to upload to GOG.

I even tried contacting the former SunBurn devs, but they never got back to me :/

This is very unfortunate as the bug itself is a rather big one and it causes the game to slow down over time (and it eventually crashes as well).

Niiiice. Turned out i've bought myself not working piece of code. What can i say. Shame on me. Maybe there is a way to get a steam code since i've already bought it in GOG. Or do i have to buy it again?

I don't think we can do anything like that :/ . My suggestion is, wait for one of the numerous sales here on Steam, as the game generally drops into the 1-2$ pricerange then.

Just put a review on gog warning people away from that version - it should probably be removed.

We'll see if they publish it.

It's kinda ironic that the GOG version ended up the victim because of DRM, perfectly illustrates why GOG is so important, even if it's out of your hands.

The game is still for sale on GOG as of 2023. Looks like the dev is blaming the people who made SunBurn Stuido, but still wants to get whatever sales come from GOG.
