Cheat engine help

I'm trying to replace a rare/shiny+trait combo lost due to the early trade quest, if there is someone who is good with cheat engine or something similar do you think you could make a thing to force a rare/shiny encounter and trait.

You could use cheat engine to get a bunch of money, then buy a ton of elusive scents like Light said. Thankfully the flee option in battle for me seems to always work, so you could farm your rares that way

which cheat engine do you recommend for modifying money? I'm not too familiar with modifying non-rpgmaker games

Modifying money is pretty easy if you have enough of it to spend. Just keep buying a cheap item one at a time and input the new value (of your total currency) every time it changes. Once you get it down to one value registering at your currency, change the number to whatever you want

Any beginner's guide to cheat engine video will demonstrate how to change simple values like currency or an inventory item

I was able to edit money, but I really need to learn how to edit hold items like the EXP share one

same process. What I did was continually give my spirit an item and taking it back, updating the value of said item in your inventory every time the value changes. As long as you update it at every instance, you'll find the address for it

i also created a table myself. mostly for the most used items like healing potion, stamina potion, seed of life, candy canes. but no matter what i did. increasing value, decreasing value, etc. i could not find the equipment address. exp share was my top one. every address i got was all red and always changing. never got a static one once. would like some help on this.

Traits and shinies are easy as hell to get. Buy elusive scent, then once you have the shiny, save your game and spam the computer for rerolling traits next to the one for the storage in a medical center, and done. No need for crazy amounts of money.
