Is there any kind of false swipe move in this game?

I've reached the end of the available early access content, so now I'm going back to lower level areas to complete my spirit collection. The issue I'm having is that my regular team OHKO's everything in these zones. I've resorted to tossing +1 catch crystals right at the beginning of encounters, but even on low level enemies, the catch rate seems to have a somewhat high rate of failure. Currency in this game is more on the finite side, so I don't want to keep wasting crystals. Is there a spirit that learns a move equivalent to Pokemon's false swipe attack? If not, man, there should be (hint hint devs).

Yeah, it would be nice for the QoL of the game. I ended up getting all the spirits that I needed by using low level spirits on other low level spirits. I didn't want to have to do it that way, but it honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I still say some kind of false swipe move should be in the game though.

The best you can do is poison stalls at the moment.
