I have an idea, stop "fixing" altogether. Last patch killed the game for me and haven't been able to play in over a month.

That's because they didn't really try to fix stuff. They just took some minimal improvements that were byproducts of their work for BZ and dumped them into the Subnautica code base, then shipped it with minimal to no product testing. An amateurish and insulting way to treat paying customers sitting on a broken product.

If you could widen your fov it will hurt less when the fps drops. Fallout 4 is painful to look at for me unmodded but i played happily for many hours at fov 115. Subnautica would benefit from wider fov.

Try the nitrox mod although its hard to use and figure out, multiplayer does exist and im not sure that subnautica is gonna add multiplayer so you should just use the nitrox launcher!

Terrain rendering and texture is really bad after this update. I troubleshot my rig thinking it was an issue on my end to no avail. Also the hostile fauna AI has gone to ♥♥♥♥. Dude Sandsharks are just all over and phasing through the map. Other fauna wondering into zones they dont belong in. I remember having playthroughs of this game with no issues. How do you attempt to fix a few things and make alot more issues. Should have just left the game alone.

You changed the med kit color from red to green and didn't mention it :D.
Also it's a shame you make an update so late and STILL don't fix the useless torpedoes! You need like 30 to kill a single Reaper Leviathan. I am literally getting my inventory and lockers full of torpedoes and they are still barely enough to kill a single one... It's very annoying considering the grinding needed to make them!
"according to the wiki: Gas Torpedos have the same visual and damaging effect as the normal pods." -> this makes torpedoes a joke if it's true!
According to the wiki the Vortex Torpedo is NON-LETHAL! But people say it's more deadly than gas torpedoes so go figure...

Тривиум: Car manufacturers don't go back and re-engineer models from 2 years ago just to please people. They do it if they have to, if it's cost-effective, if they need to recall. Same applies to this game. Why would they go back and add content to a game that's officially complete and done with? They're adding content to the new game and the improvements they make in the new game can be applied to the old world a lot of the time. This is why there are minor updates to Subnautica and major updates to a game that is in active development. Think.

From a million dev posts ago: they are not going to be adding multiplayer to this game until they redo it from scratch. So, not Subnautica or even Below Zero. Maybe the next game they release in a few years and have time to implement the multiplayer framework properly from the beginning. Mod authors are adding multiplayer but as was said above, hard to get working and buggy as hell.

Buttflap: No one is asking for major changes as the game is really solid! The micro update could've easily solve the efficiency of torpedoes just by changing a single value (their damage to Reapers) as they are next to useless which is a shame. I am sure some of the changes they performed took way longer to be made and some were really low priority like "Updated translations" as an example compared to an almost non working mechanic. I guess they don't want us to kill the reapers but just scare them but it makes you wonder why are there torpedoes then? :)
Also you shouldn't be defending them with their focus towards the new game as it's just a bad excuse. The price tag and number of purchases deserve support for couple of years after final version. I am surprised Below Zero is in beta for so long as I barely have patience not to download it. I just think of it as a ruined experience to play something which is still in development...
Also this update causes graphical glitches (more than before) on GTX 1050 Ti...
