Where is Lifepod 17?

well you can find life pod 13 in the water destroyed and there are power cells around it :D

You can find several life pods scatterd about all in one ruined state or another.

You can find lifepod 17 at the lava geyser in the Safe Shallow area close to where your lifepod is, coordinates to the geyser are -75 -25 -445. The pod is, like all other pods you find, on the floor with a hole in it. I noticed the pod since I build my base at that geyser.

it's the sothern most safe shallows wreck for now. The devs have stated they plan to move most of the pods in the safe shallows to other locations.

When they move the life pods out of the safe shallows i think lifepod 17 will be more eveloped then the rest.

Plan is to integrate signals with story in the future, so you can actually get co-ordinates to find lifepods/wrecks etc. Right now all placements and naming schemes are work in progress, so take it all with a pinch of salt.

Are you still planning on moving the pods out of the safe shallows? Or least re-number the curttent pod 17 and move 17 somewhere else. You could use the pods to direct people to new biomes.

The coordinates that are closest to Lifepod 13 are 20 -20 305. It will warp you to the SnapBLU fast food restaurant, but LP 13 should be in the Creepvine area.

I've found the pod in the shallows, but can't seem to do anything with it. But that's the thing with early access games - not everything is going to be fully implimented, or will be in game but not scripted yet.

I'm guessing that the other comm message from the second officer will be similar - important to a feature yet to be added to the game.

I found pod 17 quite by accident yesterday, while on my way home from the SW island. At first, I thought something had happened to my pod, but then I spotted the giant 17 on the side.

Lifepods aren't quite finished yet, they will probably be more useful in the future with supplies you can scavenge and maybe better related to the story.

Hopefully you can find a survivor or two to be your minions and babysit your base while you go exploring.
