Why titanium and not graphene?
I heard that graphene are much stronger than titanium, then why subanutica not use graphene? (Or Graphene with diamond coating?)

Becuse reasons. they got hand held laser tools that build buildings underwater. wireless energy. and the ability to travle the stars. what they use to make stuff seems quite pointless to me.

You have to manufacture graphene. Since most things, especially in the beginning, are made using titanium, it does not make sense to make the player manufacture a complicated material.

Material Choices in games had never been driven by logic. In almost all RPGs, Armor and Weapon made of silver or gold are better than similar objects made from iron or steele. Which is complete nonsense.

Titanium is a popular material, well known in worlds population for it's strength and low weight. So everyone knows, what Titanium is. The term "Graphene" do most people probably only know from BigBangTheory.

There are many materials that are stringer, carbon fiber for example, but these materials have to be made, they are not naturally occuring, titanium is the best natural metal they could have chosen.

The PDA finds what is most common in the area and uses that, graphene may be rare or not present on that planet, however titanium is abundant, so it prefers titanium
