Size of the Aurora / Internal layout
I did some measuring in-game. I dropped a marker buoy at the end of the Aurora, just behind one of its thrusters. I then swam the distance to the front of the ship, and looked back. The Aurora, according to the distance between me and my buoy, is approximately 1200 meters long.

That said, I'm going to see if I can get the complete dimensions for the ship, including height and width.

The one thing I'm lacking, however, is an internal map of the Aurora. I know I can just explore the ship and draw a map as I go, but I wanted to know if anyone out there had already done this or not, so I can get the length and sizes of every room and corridor.

You might say it was...titanic.

If you go in creative mode and use the teraformer to minecraft-style build a dirt tower to get ontop of the hull of the aruroa, the collision is wonky and there are places you can stand solidly, but see thru into the internal layout of the aurora, a very cheatsie way to map.

1200? It's almost a Star Destroyer. :)

1 Aurora [1200m] = 48 Blue Whales [25m] = 685 Humans (head to foot) [1.75m]

Just imagine how big it is~!!

If it's approximately 1200m long then set your monitor resolution to 1280xwhatever, grab the aurora model in the aurora (captains quarters) get as close as you possibly can to it so it fills up your screen (left-right) and take screenshots from the sides, front/back and then from the top.

Then you just measure how many pixels it is in each direction and you have your ratios.
If you have it at approximately 1200px long each pixel is 1m. Enjoy.

That's brilliant.

1200m is 3/4 the size of a standard Imperial II Class Star Destroyer (1600m)
