I think the OP is confused. You do not get the Steam version, if you bought the XBox One version. You do not get the XBox One version, if you bought the Steam version.

If you sign in and use your Microsoft Account, you can get a free trial Demo, but that's it. And the free tiral Demo is only on XBone.
