Mouse Has Disappeared from the F3 Menu

Options in the F3 menu can not be selected anymore due to a bug in some recent update that has made the mouse disappear. A thread commentor on the Subnautica Wiki "Debug Console Command" page noted a way to access them, but it is definitely a problem nonetheless. Here is what he said: "This is what worked to unlock the debug mode: Alt + Tab . Move the invisible mouse cursor over to button and unclick it. The cursor disappears but i can still see the flashing when it's hover over the F3 menu buttons. It is really tricky but works. One time to select the button and one time more to unselect it." Please fix this issue. Thanks.

Using the number keys works for toggling the effects options on the f3 menu, but even using esape to show my cursor does not let me select anything

The mouse is back again. Today's update fixed it.

when you had the f3 menu open using f8 to submit a bug let the arrow select the console check box oddly enough

It's still not working for me, each time I open the F3 console to ajust graphics and that I want to click something in that menu, It gets me out of the menu. So I can't ajust any graphics...It is very annoying

Yeah, it was an on and off issue with myself while in a playtest session with the devs. They said it will have to stay that way, using the F8 option to use the mouse, until the next update after the big one either tomorrow or Thursday.

hmmm i used to think the problem was i don't have widescreen so it does not work then i fixed the widescreen problem and its still there......... ohhh F8 fixs it? ok

my cursor completely dissipears and i cant fix it

Hey guys. I searched for this topic with the same problem. When pressing F3 and then F8, the mouse still keeps disappearing.

After a while I figured it out.
So try this.

1.Press F3 then F8
2.After that the mouse comes up.
3.After it comes up DO NOT just click on the Disable Console (That's if the console is marked. If not marked, mark it with step 4 I am about to explain.
4. Drag your mouse over the "Disable console" box, then click and HOLD, even if it disappears.
directly after that, press F8 again. This time, drag your mouse over the box again...and RELEASE.
(This will hopefully mark or unmark the check box.)
5. After that you can close the console and it should work.

Hope I helped a few. :)

I'm still dealing with this problem. I can swim around but I can't actually put anything into inventory or adjust anything in settings. However , I will try the instructions further up.

I didn't expect anybody to reply after 4 years, but i recommend verifying your game files and pressing F3 and F8 ingame if that doesn't work. I remember sometimes it reset my mouse.
