Screen randomly goes black when playing Subnautica
A week or so ago while playing the game, my monitor randomly went black for a few seconds and then went back to normal. I didn't think much of this, but about an hour later the same thing happened, and then in the next day the same problem happened, and today, it returned again, but the black screen was occurring more frequently and they were also lingering on the screen for longer than in the previous days

I have no idea why this is occurring or how I can fix it. I tried to lower the graphics in case the issue was related to the graphics in some way, but that didn't help. Additionally, this issue only seems to occur with Subnautica specifically, and it doesn't happen in any other game I play. I suspect that the issue might have something to do with my SSD or RAM because Subnautica tends to be pretty finicky when it comes to these, but I don't have any concrete proof that this is the case.

Do you have any ideas on what is causing this issue or how I can fix it? I'd really appreciate any help I can get.

Find the log file after a session where you had the issue, check the pinned thread. Maybe it says something.

Also check the Windows events (event viewer).
You could do a memory check. Maybe the PSU.

Disable the overlays (Steam, Discord, ...), you never know.
