Arch missing in aquarium

I’ve spent ages grinding subnautica and as I’m coming to the end of the game, it’s glitched. I got to the aquarium in the lava area castle, everything working fine but as soon as the sea emperor blows the sand away to reveal the portal, it doesn’t reveal anything. There’s just an empty floor. I can’t progress any further because I need to go through the portal to get the recipe for the thing to help the eggs. Other people have had this/similar issues but every solution that I can find doesn’t work. I also accidentally saved the game after the sea emperor blew the sand so I can’t quit the game and go back to try something else.

Assuming you have the game on the Xbox App / MS store, there is a pinned thread in the general subforum that gives you a workaround.

We still don't know why a few players have that issue on these launchers.
