Can't disable console commands

After the update, I litreally cannot disable the console and ive been trying to 100 percent the game and I cant. It's there forever. when I go into f3 the disable console isn't there. I might stop playing until its fixed because I cannot do anything else :/

Why is it an issue? Just don't use the console.

The Disable Console checkbox was removed, now you just press "Shift + ~" or "Shift + Enter" to open the console, while you have to actually enter and use a valid command to disable achievements.

I think the game has just decided that if I enable it once, its for forever because I just got the cuddlefish AND went into the endgame zone. I'm over it now though I'll just have to make a new save.

If you use any command the game disables the achievements for this save slot permanently yes.

yea thats a shame I used it to get unstuck before the update

We have been blessed with a button marked "Unstuck" in the pause menu, as of the latest update.

Considering time based events I wouldn't recommend using the "day" cheat, as you can miss the Aurora explosion or the Sunbeam with it. Using a bed is the prefered method to pass the night if you don't like it, but even so the night is good just to catch fishes easily.

Even a command like "fps" will disable your achievements. Make a new game.
