Infinite oxygen bug

I found a bug where after traveling through a portal with the prawn suit I end up with infinite oxygen. My oxygen number stays at max when under water. Anyone else run into this?

Yes, I had this quite often, but still couldn't nail down how I triggered it. :(
Therefore I refrained from reporting at, as of missing the necessary steps to reproduce. :(

I've been experiencing this too. Not just oxygen, food and water also don't go down. I didn't associate it with portals, though: it only ever happened to me after talking to the sea emperor, so I figured it was some cutscene that hadn't ended properly.
Relaunching the application fixes it.

Yeah i get that when i go back to the sea emperors pool i been putting it down to enzyme 42 because it goes away after a long time.

I go back to the Sea Emperor pool to use the portals for the large deposits that's when it happens for me.
I don't see the need to report it because at this point the the eggs have hatched and the young ones have left and the story is finished hell i even left the planet just loaded up an old save to go back and build.

Restarting the game always fixed the issue for me btw.

Yeah same i think it may have even went away on its own after a long time but i will double check later.

I tried to use the portal inside the aquarium that leads to the one above it, with or without the prawn suit, but it doesn't work.

I need precise reproduction steps.

I overwrote my save so cannot capture a video but I was able to repeat it by teleporting from the Primary Containment Facility rear right portal which takes you to the south end of the map while wearing the prawn suit. I verified teleporting without the suit did not create the issue. After teleporting with the suit then getting out of it and entering the water the bug was present. I did not try to restart the game but entering and leaving a base or any other area did not resolve the issue, I had to reload my save.

Well, I was on hardcore.
So when I quit, it automatically saves my game.

I don't remember if I tried reloading directly from the main menu, but I may have quit the game after saving and starting it completely fresh.

However, the issue can be fixed quite easily by restarting or loading an older save like in your case @Digital Ruler. :)

my O2 no longer goes down when swimming. I am pretty sure my hunger and water intake are also not moving anymore.
